APWA Event Policies Cancellation / Refund Policy Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund. After this period, a $100 cancellation fee will apply. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the event. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to events@oregon.apwa.org. Substitutions are permitted at any time with a written request to events@oregon.apwa.org. Please note: Failure to cancel and non-attendance will result in full registration charges. Event Meal Policy At APWA Oregon Chapter events we use two meal types: plated or buffet, dependent on the event. With events our size it is a challenge for most facilities to offer specialized meals without charging a premium price. Plated: We offer three choices, please select one that fits your meal plan. Buffet: We try to offer items to cover a variety of dietary plans. It is the attendees responsibility to choose a meal that fits within their individual guidelines or choose to bring your own meals. Hotel / APWA Policy Lodging reservations are NOT made through APWA. Any lodging room agreement is between the registrant and the Hotel. Please make yourself familiar with your selected hotels regulation and polices, including cancellation, no-show, early departure, and more.
